Sean is a well-known orthopedic physician assistant who has been working in New Bern since 2001. He is known for his expertise in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, from spine issues, sports medicine, fracture care, to arthritis. He takes pride in working closely with his patients to develop individualized treatment plans that meet their specific needs and avoid surgery whenever possible. He is also committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advances in orthopedic medicine so he can provide his patients with the best possible care.
Sean earned his Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University, he also earned his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology/Biomechanics from James Madison University, where he also taught Biomechanics for the Kinesiology Department, and he earned his Physician Assistant degree from Marywood University. While working on his post graduate education in Biomechanics at the University of Northern Colorado, he taught classes for the Biomechanics and Physiology departments and worked for multiple orthopedic implant companies, where he gained experience in total joint replacement and trauma surgery. He then transitioned to clinical practice after finishing his Physician Assistant program, where he has been providing excellent, timely orthopedic care to patients of all ages.
Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and pursuing his passion for sports. He is an avid golfer and snow skier, and he can often be found at the local gym or helping out at local sporting events.
