Our experienced, dedicated team employs sophisticated diagnostic and treatment technologies to treat all types of cancer and many blood disorders. Our patients have access to the latest chemotherapy treatments, extensive lab services, advanced diagnostic imaging equipment, clinical research opportunities and a variety of support services. We collaborate with leading area specialists as well as renowned research institutions to offer comprehensive therapies such as surgery, radiation therapy, and genetic testing. All of our physicians have privileges at CarolinaEast Medical Center, and a provider is always available for evening and weekend emergency call.
What We Offer
Infusion / Chemotherapy: Specialized nurses administer advanced infusion therapies in our comfortable infusion room. All of our infusion nurses are certified by OCN and ONS in oncology and chemotherapy administration.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory performs many diagnostic lab tests at the time of service, allowing timely results and less travel for patients.
Diagnostic Imaging: Our patients have access to the latest diagnostic imaging technology. Digital mammograms, CT, and a state-of-the-art open MRI are conveniently located next door at CCHC Imaging Center.
Clinical Trials: Our practice actively participates in a variety of clinical trials, giving patients access to cutting-edge clinical research.
Patient and Family Counseling Services: Our oncology social worker has a Masters in Social Work and is trained to help those affected by cancer cope with the physical, emotional, social and financial challenges that may arise. She provides individual and family counseling and facilitates support groups to help patients and families.
Your First Office Visit
For your first office visit, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for registration. Please bring the following items with you:
- Current photo ID
- Insurance card
- ALL current prescription bottles
- Medical records (copies should be sent to our office at least 48 hours prior to first appointment)
- Co-payment
- Any questions you may want to ask the doctor
