Advanced Practice Clinician:CCHC Heart and Vascular Specialists is seeking a full-time FNP-C or PA-C to join our team currently consisting of three Physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider. The FNP-C / PA-C should have a minimum of two years clinical experience in cardiology, the ability to work independently and be a problem solver. The position is outpatient only. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package.
Advanced Practice Clinician: CCHC New Bern Internal Medicine Specialists is seeking a part-time FNP-C or PA-C. The Advanced Practice Provider should have a minimum of two years clinical experience preferably in internal medicine, the ability to work independently and be a problem solver. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Certified Medical Assistant: CCHC New Bern Family Practice is seeking Certified Medical Assistants with a minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting; Candidates must have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and a working knowledge of various computer software applications. The position is full-time, Monday – Friday.
Clinical Research Coordinator: The CRC will be responsible for the start-up, implementation, and on-going coordination of clinical trials at our New Bern Internal Medicine Specialists department. Applicants must function independently and possess excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. A licensed Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Certified Medical Assistant is preferred. Non-licensed professionals with experience in healthcare may be considered. Knowledge of GCP/ICH and FDA regulations preferred, or applicant must be willing to complete on-line GCP training prior to the start date. The position is full-time, Monday – Friday.
Phlebotomist: CCHC Coastal Primary Care is seeking a full-time phlebotomist. Candidates will perform veinpuncture, arterial and capillary punctures; Instruct patient on urine collection procedures; Utilize Harvest to effectively and efficiently capture and enter pertinent patient information. The position is Monday – Friday.
Coding and Billing Specialist: The Coding and Billing Specialist is responsible for accurately coding and billing multi-specialty office charges. Specialties include primary care, cardiology, neurology, and gastroenterology. The Specialist should possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records, technical procedure reports, and governmental regulations; effectively present information and respond to questions; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and/or schedule form; obtain medical information from clinicians when required to validate correct coding; performs data entry of charges; and review billing and coding tasks for denial resolution. Applications utilized are GE Centricity Group Management and Allscripts Touchworks Word, Excel. Applicants should possess a High School diploma, two years of medical billing experience and Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA certification. The position is full-time Monday through Friday.
