Care Manager – CCHC Pamlico Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Care Management team.  Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability work effectively independently and as a team member, and excellent decision making skills. The care manager will assist with care coordination, communicate with primary care providers, assist with transitions of care, and coach patients to improve their health behaviors. Three years of clinical experience is required.

Certified Medical Assistant (Scribe): CCHC New Bern Family Practice is seeking a Certified Medical Assisants with a minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting; Candidates must have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and a working knowledge of various computer software applications. TThe position is full-time, Monday – Friday.

Echocardiography Technologist: CCHC Imaging Center is seeking a full-time Echocardiography Technologistto perform high quality echocardiograms for interpretation and diagnosis by a Cardiologist. Echocardiographer must be able to apply their knowledge of clinical cardiology and problem-solving skills to optimize the echocardiographic evaluation, tailoring and expanding the exam to ensure comprehensiveness and diagnostic accuracy. Candidates should successfully organize and prioritize patient exams and be able to work independently and efficiently. Candidates must be certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS). One year of experience is preferred.

Coding and Billing Specialist – responsible for accurately coding and billing multi-specialty office charges. Specialties include primary care, cardiology, neurology, and gastroenterology. Obtains medical information from clinicians when required to validate correct coding. Performs data entry of charges. Reviews billing and coding tasks for denial resolution.  Applications utilized are: GE Centricity Group Management and Allscripts Touchworks Word, Excel.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  • High School diploma, two years of medical billing experience and Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA certification.  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records, technical procedure reports, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and/or schedule form.

Practice Manager: Candidates should have proven leadership abilities, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills that foster a collaborative team environment. The Manager will provide daily oversight into the operations of CCHC Southern Gastroenterology by ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. Additional responsibilities include: personnel management, financial reporting and maintaining compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations. Candidates should possess a BS or BA in Healthcare or Business Administration with a minimum of three years practice management experience – experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
