Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – CCHC Urgent Care is seeking a PRN FNP-C or PA-C.  The Advanced Practice Clinician should have a minimum of two years clinical experience preferably in emergency medicine.  Multiple shifts available.  

Care Manager – CCHC Pamlico Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Care Management team.  Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability work effectively independently and as a team member, and excellent decision making skills. The care manager will assist with care coordination, communicate with primary care providers, assist with transitions of care, and coach patients to improve their health behaviors. Three years of clinical experience is required.

Certified Medical Assistant – CCHC Coastal Primary Care, CCHC New Bern Family Practice, and CCHC Neurology are seeking a Certified Medical Assisants with a minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting; Candidates must have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and a working knowledge of various computer software applications. The positions are full-time, Monday – Friday.

Coding and Billing Specialist – Coders will be responsible for accurately coding and billing multi-specialty office charges. Specialties include primary care, cardiology, neurology, and gastroenterology. Obtains medical information from clinicians when required to validate correct coding. Performs data entry of charges. Reviews billing and coding tasks for denial resolution.  Applications utilized are: GE Centricity Group Management and Allscripts Touchworks Word, Excel.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  • High School diploma, two years of medical billing experience and Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA certification.  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records, technical procedure reports, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and/or schedule form.

Patient Services Representative – Applicants should be self-motivated, capable of establishing priorities, and have the ability to work in a team environment; Excellent communication skills are required.  Patient Services Representatives are responsible for welcoming patients and visitors in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner, provide instruction when needed, capture pertinent information, and collect applicable co-pays.  Applicants should possess two years Medical Office Experience or an Associate degree Medical Office Technology.

Registered Nurse – CCHC Endoscopy is seeking a Registered Nurse experienced in Pre-op and Recovery.  Applicants applying for this position should be available to begin work at 6:30 a.m. 

Registered Nurse – CCHC Urgent Care is seeking a full-time RN.  Applicants should have a minimum of two years clinical experience preferably in emergency medicine, the ability to work independently and be a problem solver. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. The work schedule includes: (3) 12 hour shifts per week, including one weekend per month.

Registered Nurse – CCHC Extended Care is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse.  Applicants should have 2 years experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or Critical Care specialty areas. RN’s should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and a working knowledge of various computer software applications. BLS required / ACLS preferred. Multiple shifts available seven days per week with an opportunity to advance to permanent part-time and/or full-time status.
