Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant: CCHC Creekside Primary Care is seeking a full-time FNP-C or PA-C.  The Advanced Practice Clinician should have a minimum of three years clinical experience in primary care, the ability to work independently and be a problem solver. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:  CCHC Urgent Care is seeking a full-time FNP-C or PA-C. The Advanced Practice Clinician should have a minimum of two years clinical experience preferably in emergency medicine, the ability to work independently and be a problem solver. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. The work schedule includes: (3) 12 hour shifts per week, including one weekend per month.

Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – CCHC Urgent Care is seeking a PRN FNP-C or PA-C.  The Advanced Practice Clinician should have a minimum of two years clinical experience preferably in emergency medicine.  Multiple shifts available.  

Charge Entry Team Lead – Candidates should have proven leadership abilities, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills that foster a collaborative team environment.  This position is responsible for working alongside and leading a department of four Charge Entry/CPC Professionals responsible for accurately billing outpatient provider charges.  Additionally, this position is tasked with the responsibility to work with several of the group’s payors to make sure they receive information necessary for appropriate quality measure reporting and risk adjustment purposes (HCC coding); Serve as the primary liaison for implementation of billing and coding improvement projects; Abstract clinical data elements needed to create/manage spreadsheets for analysis; Serve as the lead Coder in periodic meetings with the group’s payor partners.    

Candidates should be Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA certified, possess a minimum of three years of management experience, and have five years medical coding and charge entry experience.  Experience in GE Centricity Group Management, Allscripts, Word, and Excel are preferred.  The position is full-time Monday through Friday.

Certified Medical Assistants – CCHC Coastal Primary Care and CCHC Southern Gastroenterology are seeking a Certified Medical Assistants with a minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting; Candidates must have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and a working knowledge of various computer software applications. The positions are full-time, Monday – Friday.

Patient Services Representative – CCHC Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative.  Applicants should be self-motivated, capable of establishing priorities, and have the ability to work in a team environment; Excellent communication skills are required.  Patient Services Representatives are responsible for welcoming patients and visitors in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner, provide instruction when needed, capture pertinent information, and collect applicable co-pays.  Applicants should possess two years Medical Office Experience.  The position will require some evening and weekend shifts.

Phlebotomist – CCHC New Bern Internal Medicine Specialists are seeking a full-time phlebotomist. Candidates will perform veinpuncture, arterial and capillary punctures; Instruct patient on urine collection procedures; Utilize Harvest to effectively and efficiently capture and enter pertinent patient information; Identify and label specimens; Conduct laboratory tests; Clean and sterilize equipment, instruments, and work area following safety, cleanliness, and infection control procedures; Maintain adequate inventory ensuring all supplies are viable before use.

Registered Nurse: CCHC Urgent Care is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Applicants should have 2 years experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or Critical Care specialty areas. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and a working knowledge of various computer software applications. BLS required. Multiple shifts available seven days per week.
